The introductory to clay has begun! We are preparing for our biannual Empy Bowls dinner. It is a charity event that benefits the Food Bank of South Jersey- the class works in unison to create dozens of interesting bowls which are then sold to those who wish to participate in the dinner. Once you've purchased a bowl- you may help yourself to the array of foods donated by members of the school staff and students and their families. It allows for us, as art students, to contribute to a great cause and also to experiment with different ideas before beginning our own personal clay projects.
