I figured I'd update quickly about what's been going on in my art life. Here's my finished black and white fruit drawing. I'm pretty satisfied with it- at least the apple aspect. Not so much the orange. I need to work on some things, but I was also proud that much to my doubt I managed to capture the hidden lines in the apple that some of the other students didn't bother focusing on. Although a lot of the other student's shading triumphed over mine- I didn't forget those little details that everyone dreads or just avoids, so that made me feel a bit better.
